The Glasshouse: Specialty Coffee & Toast Bar

The Glasshouse was birthed from an idea: to make specialty coffee accessible, unpretentious and friendly. It embodies the idea that specialty coffee is not hipster coffee, but is a better representation of your everyday coffee.
Their menu is simple, and espresso based coffee is served in the most basic styles: Black coffee – espresso with hot water (a long black), White coffee – espresso with milk, Filter – pourover drip coffee and cold brew. Keeping things simple, it does without the unnecessary choices on the sizes of beverages and focuses on what’s important: The coffees themselves. The emphasis is on the coffees that go into the espresso and filter offerings, where they are not simply cookie-cutter, generic offerings and are quality selections from our local roasters
Coffees from different local roasters are always rotated on the espresso and filter bars, with an emphasis on sweetness and transparent representation of the coffee.
What is available on the bar is also available on the retail shelves so that the sharing experience can brought back home with you. The Glasshouse is really more than any instagrammable cafe. No doubt, it looks great, but it’s about service and great sharing of great coffees
The most powerful thing about coffee is that how great coffee can bring people together and create a community. Just ask The Glasshouse down at CHIJMES, where on top of looking great, champions the emphasis on quality in coffee.
