More about Los Pirineos

Los Pirineos is a unique farm with a unique producer on a unique piece of terroir.

Situated on the Tepeca volcano in Usulatan, Los Pirineos is one of the pioneers of the micro mill in El Salvador. Gilberto Baraona has been experimenting with different cultivars at his medium altitude farm, playing with varities that suit the volcanic soil, the cold nights, and the unique micro climate. This allows much control over the growing and processing of different coffee varieties

This native Pacamara variety is a testament to the high quality processing and flavours coming from this beautiful farm, with an amazingly clean profile with layered complexity to the flavours and beautiful sweetness that holds up in a brew
